I’m a semi-professional photographer specializing in portrait and art photography.

I currently live and work in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I teach high school Japanese and coach swimming.

I recently graduated with my MFA in photography from the University of Tulsa and also hold a BA in theatre from Oklahoma State University.  I lived and worked in Japan for three years in the gap between the two.

My thesis, and often my focus, deals with masculinity and gender roles in images.  I tend to work in long tableaus and often create special devices to display my images, such as Japanese folding screens and scroll mechanisms.
